The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it's alarmed concerning the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at sassa status check Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services point created for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
